Hi I'm Nicki

I chew gum like it's going out of style. I fear sharks more than anything and I'm from the desert... and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hi! I'm NIcki... I'm a hair stylist ...On the ten year college plan ...Love to travel and paint ...Play soccer & volleyball ...Love being outdoors!

Why I am a Mormon

I have choosen to be a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints because it makes me happy and at peace to know that God has a plan for each of us and that we can be with our family forever. I have great memories of the Priestood and feeling the spirit inside my home, growing up and am eagar to create the same environment for my family someday. It means everything to me that Christ died for my sins and my pain, and the knowledge that he knows exactly what I'm feeling and going thru brings great comfort. I love the quote, "I never said it would be easy, I only said it would be worth it." I can't imagine not knowing that there is something after this life and that it will be more than worth it! I also have come to know that Joseph Smith did indeed see God the Father and His son, Jesus Christ and that thru Their instruction and power, restored the Gospel to the earth and translated and made public the Book of Mormon. I am grateful for his Faith in enduring to the end. And for our current Prophet, Thomas Monson. I feel the Spirit bearing witness to me everytime I hear him speak, as well as the other General Authorities. I love my family so much and am grateful for all their examples!

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith through being an example and a friend to everyone I meet. I used to be so afraid of what people would think of me, but I found it gets easier each time I share my beliefs. I've realized that if you're genuine and express your beliefs naturally, the way you are comfortable with, people are pretty receptive.
