Hi I'm Cristina Rosa

I was converted in 1981. I love my family. I enjoy my life. And I am a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a professional in Marketing and I work for and in behalf of people from my home office in Hartsville, South Carolina. I love to help people look and feel healthier and younger. First of all I'm a wife mother of two wonderful children and grandma of nine beautiful children. The biggest challenges in my life are being a mother and learning a second language after 50 years old (English) but at the same time they have been the most rewarding in many ways. One of my goals was to be married in the Holy Temple. I was blessed with a wonderful eternal husband who loves me and respects me with all his heart. He took me to the Temple and married me. He has two great children. They live in Utah. I've been blessed with an excellent relationship with my husband and my children. THIS IS MY TREASURE.

Why I am a Mormon

When I was a child I had many questions and doubts about God. I was 10 years old and I didn't know much about Christianity. So I asked my mother, "WHO WAS FIRST CHRISTOPHER COLUMBUS OR JESUSCHRIST?" My mother could answer that simple question but not the next ones. "Where were the people in America when Jesus came to the world", and "Why did Jesus come to the old world and didn't come to America?" and "Did God not loves us because we were not beautiful like the people in the old world, because we were Indians and different?" I had looked for answers my whole life until in 1981 I was working for Sears when I met Sonia who was different from all others and I asked her why she was different, dressed modest (at that time that was weird) . She told me she was a Mormon. I asked if she was crazy and okay sharing her husband with a lot of women? I knew Mormon men had many wives. She replied very soft "that's not true. The missionaries can explain everything about Mormon Church. Would you like that?" I thought sure, why not? I met the missionaries and they had two questions for me. I thought "I am the one who has questions" but I didn't say anything so they asked me "do you like to read?". I said "No, I like to dance." But when they asked the next question my life changed forever: "Do you know that JESUSCHRIST came to America?". I started to cry and I asked them "how do you know that?" They told me they had a book which told us the story about the people in America 600 years before and 400 years after Jesuschrist, and also talked about the visit of JESUSCHRIST to America. Everything they said it was like a sweet song to my ears. And I said to myself "I knew it, but I didn't know how." I wanted to hear more. I knew Heavenly Father is a loving Father and I'm His child, that He sent His son JESUSCHRIST to atone and to be resurrected for us. I knew the Father and the Son were separate beings. Their purpose TO BRING TO PASS THE IMMORTALITY AND ETERNAL LIFE OF MAN.

How I live my faith

I believe in the power of forgiveness. This allows me to be happy and free. Forgiveness means you have made peace with the pain and you are ready to let it go. Even at my age I make mistakes everyday but JesusChrist gave me the opportunity to look everyday as a new begnning, so I do. The family is a very important part of my life. It's my treasure. Because the family is important, we do family night every Monday night to spend time together. Each Sunday I go with my husband to church. Every night we read the scriptures together and prayed together. We were called to work in the Temple. Over the years I have served as a leader in the women's organization for the Church and in the primary organization. I was calling to be Primary teacher and I love it. Children are the best part of my life. I try to be an example and to serve other every time I have the opportunity. My oldest has been married in the temple and has 5 children. My youngest son served a mission in Alabama he was married in the Temple in 2013 and has a daughter.

What do Mormons believe about the nature of God?

Cristina Rosa
God Is our loving Father in Heaven. We are created in His Image (Genesis 1:27). He has body that looks like ours, but God body is immortal, perfected, and has a glory that words can't describe. God is perfect all wise, and all-powerful; the ruler of the universe. He is kind and merciful. Because we are His children He knows and loves each of us individually. He has a plan to help His children find joy in this life and return to live with Him when this life is over Show more Show less
