Hi I'm Felicia

I'm a Texas girl, an academic enthusiast and, I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Texas and I was the only LDS person in my high school. I have always loved education and I am currently working on two graduate degrees in both counseling and clinical psychology. Throughout life, I have survived many obstacles and tragedies but, fortunately, God has always remained a constant in my life. Ultimately, I want to open a clinic for women and children who have been victims of violence and sexual assault. I love life, I love to laugh, and I love my Savior, Jesus Christ. I am a Texas girl, a vegetarian, an academic enthusiast, a survivor, and I am a Mormon.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the Church by my mother and have been going to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints since I was born. My mother and her family are so strong in the Church so, even though I was the only LDS person in my school, I was able to gain strength from attending church every week and having scripture study with my mom. I was baptized at eight years old and I have been going to church my entire life. I remain active in the Church because of my strong testimony. I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the one and only true church on the earth. Through prayer and scripture study, I gained a strong testimony that God lives, He loves us and, sent His only begotten son to Earth to atone for our sins. I know that the Father and Jesus Christ appeared to Joseph Smith and restored the fullness of the gospel to the earth. I know that I am a beloved daughter of God with divine strength and attributes and, above all, I know that Jesus is the Christ and that we have a living prophet today under the Savior's guidance and direction to shepherd us to return to Him. This is why I'm a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by being a daily example of Christ's love. I exercise love, compassion, and I advocate for the less fortunate.
