Hi I'm Jason.

I am in the US Army. I love to be outside. I am the cheapest person you will ever know. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I graduated from college in aviation, flew airplanes in Alaska for a little bit, then moved on to bigger and better adventures. I am a pretty private person and don't volunteer too much information about myself. I am married to my best friend and have two beautiful girls-with one more on the way.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up LDS. My mother is Mormon, my dad is from another faith. This is what makes sense to me, both intellectually and spiritually. It all comes together as God has planned it and I have the choice to follow His commandments or be left behind. The choice is mine and I have already made it.

How I live my faith

I teach by example. When there is an opportunity to volunteer, I am usually the one to do it. I help lead a group of men similar to my age to teach them and bring us all closer in the unity of the faith and to an understanding of our Heavenly Father.

What is the Relief Society?

Jason.
The Relief Society is a women's organization for all women 18 and older. It is set up with a leader and counselors, just as everything in the LDS Church is. They meet, at a minimum, once a week on Sunday. There are other, less formal meetings during the week where lessons are given on being self-sufficient, growing spiritually, strengthening social relationships, and many other topics. If someone in the local congregation is having a tough time, mostly it is the Relief Society that gets them through it. Relief Society is many times the highlight of my wife's month.
