Hi I'm Barbara

I'm a wife, mother & grandmother. I'm a register piano technician. l like to scuba dive, garden, and go on family vacations.

About Me

I am a wife, mother, and grandmother. I like camping and going on vacation, SCUBA diving, music, riding my bike, working in my yard and being surrounded by my family. I am a R.P.T. (Registered Piano Technician) and help with the Piano Tuners Guild in teaching other technicians who would like to become registered. I have composed music and it has been performed at a few local concerts. I own my own business, which has progressively grown and becoming successful. I have put a pause in my business so my husband and I can serve a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. We will be serving for 18 months, attempting to learn a new language and excited to serve. I learned to scuba dive so my husband and I could have some things we could enjoy doing together. He was certified and I wanted to see if I would enjoy it. The idea kind of scared me, but after taking a course and overcoming some fear, I Iearned to to enjoy it and together we have had some fun adventures.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the gospel of Jesus Christ, I have stayed a member, because the principles work. I pay tithing and I am greatly blessed, I pray and my prayers are answered, I serve and I feel my Saviors love for those I serve, I attend meetings and feel His spirit near me, I study scriptures and learn how to live my life, I exercise faith and I see miracles, I am obedient and feel His love for me. I can't imagine any better way to live.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith everyday by reading scripture, praying morning and night, and always trying to remember Jesus Christ. I also like to have some type of daily devotional for myself by listening to a General Conference talk or reading from books that inspire me. I remember to thank Heavenly Father for his regular tender mercies that He gives to me. My faith is who I am, it isn't 'my religion' it is me trying to live correct principles every moment. I love my Heavenly Father and Mother, I love Jesus Christ and I am grateful to know them, and I try to live worthy of them.
