Hi I'm Buffie

I'm a mother of 4. I am a piano teacher. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I live a very happy and fulfilled life. My husband and my 4 kids bring me so much joy and happiness. They are my number 1 priority each and every day. I also love teaching music. I started teaching piano when I was 16 and have never stopped! I feel that teaching music is one of my "callings" in life. I enjoy teaching piano to children and adults of all ages. It has been a tremendous blessing in my life to be able to stay home with my kids and to be able to work from home as well bringing music into the lives of others.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents joined the church when I was 2 years old. So I was raised being a Mormon and have definitely felt the Lord's hand in guiding my life. I am so grateful for the guidelines that I was given and that I followed as a teenager and that I STILL follow today. I held tight to the teachings of my church leaders even though they may not have been the "coolest" things to do. I married in the temple to a man who served an honorable mission and I have 4 beautiful children. I feel strongly about raising my children in the gospel. Raising children in today's society can be a scary thing but I have faith that by living the gospel standards and teaching my children these standards, I can and will have an eternal family in this life and the in the life to come.

How I live my faith

As a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, I attend church each and every Sunday with my family. As a musician I have had many opportunities to play the piano/organ/flute in many different church settings. I also enjoy working with the youth of our ward. I have been teach children of all ages about music and the gospel. I am currently working with the 9 year old boys in Boys Scouts. This has been a fantastic learning experience for me as I teach these boys skills to prepare them for adulthood.
