Hi I'm Dan

I'm a Mormon, I grew up in Eastern Washington on a farm, now I work as a Product Manager.

About Me

Hi, I have been married for 32 years, to a wonderful women. She blessed us with 4 children, two girls and two boys. I also have 7 beautiful grandchildren, with another on the way. I served a mission in Columbus Ohio. I grew up on a farm, but went to college and became a Product Manager in the High Tech industry. I have been involved in the scouting program for over 25 years. Both my sons are Eagle Scouts. I enjoy hiking, fishing, backpacking, gardening, and making just about anything.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born a member of the church, as my partents were memebers of the church. I had doubts, as many did, so I searched for the truth in my own life. The Lord testified to me of the truth of the gospel when I was in high school. I was in a religious discussion with some of my friends, and there was a point in the conversation where the Spirit of the Lord bore tetimony to me of the truth. The feelings and conviction were so strong I could not deny it. I have been building that testimony ever since. I have been blessed by the Lord and I have learned to recognize his hands in the things that I do. I know he loves me and my family and continues to bless us, through service and the opportunities he provides.

How I live my faith

I have worked in many leadreship positions in the church. I have had the opportunity to work with the children and youth of the church. One of my favorite assignments was working with the youth, many years of which, was serving in the Scouting program. I now oversee some of the programs in my leadership position and still enjoy working with the youth and adults in my congregation.
