Hi I'm Amber

I am a part-time chef, full-time mom of 6 kids, a wife and I am a Mormon.

About Me

When I look back on my life I realize how blessed I have been. Life hasn't been perfect but it has sure been fun! I have a wonderful husband and 6 great kids who love me. My parents and siblings have been a great strength to me. I am so grateful for my family. I love to cook and try new recipes. I cook part time in our family restaurant and I LOVE IT! I like to run, sew, scrapbook and make crafts when I find time. I also love to read and learn new things. My life is full of kids, laundry, work, hobbies, church callings and my faith. I am truly blessed.

Why I am a Mormon

I was baptised a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints when I was eight years old. I have been taught since I was young that my Heavenly Father loves me and wants me to return to Him. I know He loves all of His children and He wants us all to return to Him. I want to have an eternal family and I know this is possible because of the gospel of Jesus Christ. I am so grateful to have the blessing of the temple in my life. When I go to the temple I feel such peace . I know that through the priesthood, sacred ordinances can be performed in the temple that will link our families for eternity. I hope to live worthy of that blessing.

How I live my faith

I am teaching my children to follow Jesus Christ. I hope I can be a good example to them and to everyone I meet. Each day I strive to improve myself and be a little better than I was the day before. To be a little kinder, a little more patient and a little more forgiving. I love to study the gospel through the Book of Mormon and the words of our Prophet and church leaders. These words bring great comfort and strength to me and help me want to be better. I have had many opportunities to serve in the church and they have been a great blessing to me. My service has helped my faith grow and I have come to love those I have served.
