Hi I'm Dawn

I am a wife, mother, para educator to special needs children, gymnastics coach, and I love to dance and scrapbook and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am an only child. I now have 4 children of my own.It is challenging at times but I would not want anything to be different. I love to dance but do not get the opportunity to very often. When I was younger I wanted to be a Rockette. I am very good with children and love watching them grow and develope. Most of the jobs I have had, have been related to children. Currently I work at an elementary school.

Why I am a Mormon

As a child my mother made sure I was baptized when I was 8. However she did not take me to church very often. As a teenager I went on my own for a few years. In High School kids would make fun of me for being Mormon so I started to hide it. I still knew there was a God and prayed to him daily. After High School I moved from San Diego CA to Branson MO. I did not know anyone and life was very different. I wanted something familiar so I went back to church. The people made me feel so welcome and like I belonged there. The Osmond family had also just moved to the area and they were attending my Ward. As I watched them I began to see what I would want my family to be like. They were kind, loving, and spiritual. Fathers showed love to their children openly. I decided to put all I had into going to church and learning all I could about the gospel. I know that I was very selfish and vain before I went back to church. I try as hard as I can to do for others whenever I can now. I want everyone to have the love of Christ. To know that they are a child of God and that they matter.

How I live my faith

I know that I was very selfish and vain before I went back to church. I try as hard as I can to do for others whenever I can now. I want everyone to have the love of Christ. To know that they are a child of God and that they matter. I serve in church wherever I am asked to and I know that it blesses my life.I read my scriptures and learn as much as I can about Heavenly Fathers plan for me. I know this church is true and that it brings happiness and joy. Living worthy to live with Heavenly Father again will make your life better. It will not make everything perfect and it is not always easy but it will be better. I have lived without the Gospel in my life and I would not go back for anything.
