Hi I'm Cindy

I'm a mom, I'm a teacher, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up around animals and love horses. I love being a mom and I also love my parents. I have become the default "animal rescuer," in my neighborhood. I have helped cats, dogs, and even ducks grow up and find a home. I have taught school for years and a few years back I challenged myself to get my master's degree. I enjoy spending time with my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born a member, but each person ultimately has to decide who they are and what they believe. I have found so much strength in Jesus Christ! I love Him and desire to follow Him in all things. I find additional strength and direction through the teachings of living prophets. To have guidance every day through prayer, the scriptures, and modern teachings brings me comfort and joy when life gets hard. I am not perfect but try to follow the precepts of the gospel. When I do, I find more peace and things seem to work out, even though life is not meant to be easy.

How I live my faith

I try to give as much of myself as I can. I am not perfect, but I love to help. I try to help through teaching, giving to good causes, and teaching children about God through music. I feel that I live my faith at work by being a person my students can count on to respect them, show love for them, and give them guidance. I feel I live my faith at home by showing my husband and my children that the Lord can count on me, and I know I can count on Him. In church I try to live my faith by giving of my means to help others, and by serving in whatever ways I am asked.
