Hi I'm Staci

I'm a performer. I'm a songwriter. I'm a swimmer. I'm the daughter of a handicapped mother. I'm the youngest of 5. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am 18 years old. I'm a musical theatre major in Wyoming and loving it! I am the youngest of 5 kids and the daughter of an amazing women with MS and a caring father. I LOVE Disney and was recently accepted into the Disney College Internship Program, however I turned it down so that I could finish my schooling. I will be graduating with my AA in musical theatre in DEC after only a short 3 semesters, following which I will be going on a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints! Every day I am blessed to be a part of this church and to have the gospel in my life.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a mormon because I know that God lives and loves us each individually. He wants us to do what is right and return to live with Him one day in the Celestial Kingdom. I know that there is a prophet on the earth today and that he is a true prophet of the Lord and speaks directly to God. I have a firm belief in modern day revelation and that Jospeh Smith translated the Book of Mormon through and by the power of God. I know that this is the true church of Jesus Christ on the earth today and I know that the gospel which we teach and preach is the true gospel of Jesus Christ. I know and believe these things with every fiber of my being and cannot deny them.

How I live my faith

I live it in everything I do. This Gospel is not something you should choose to live one day out of the week, it must be constant. I try to glorify God in everything I do and say by being an example of the believers to those around me and trying to share the pure love of Christ. By small and simple things, great things are brought to pass. I pray daily (And quite frequently during the day, might I add), I read my scriptures, I attend Branch activities, I attend Institute of religion classes, I sing in my Branch choir, and I smile at everyone passing by. I am far from perfect, but I work every day to live my faith and keep promises I have made with Heavenly Father so that one day I can return to live with him.

Why do Mormon missionaries proselyte?

The Savior taught His disciples, “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations” (Matthew 28:19). The Missionaries of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints follow this teaching to help bring others into the Light of Christ and into the fullness of His gospel. Missionaries serve for a period of 18 months (women) and 2 years (men) and give up that time serve the Lord full-time. Show more Show less
