Hi I'm Kim Walker

I'm a Missionary at Twin Falls Idaho. I love sweets a little too much. I LOVE life! I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a 21 year old with big dreams. I grew up in my favorite place Thatcher, Arizona where there are the most amazing people you will ever meet. I was just called on a mission to serve in the Twin Falls, Idaho mission which is amazing!!!!! I love doing anything and everything and participating in every opportunity! I have been in choirs, played high school sports, finished a triathlon, cut my toe off, been in plays, and just about every other thing you can imagine:) My main passions in life are musics, learning how to be a great mom, baking, sports, and Family.

Why I am a Mormon

I think the question in is would I not be a Mormon? The only true happiness I have had in my 19 years of life have been because of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Being a Mormon is like having a flashlight in the darkness. I know where I'm going and how to get there. There have been days where I think to myself, "How am I going to get through this day, or week?", and the only answer that comes to my mind is my Savior. He is always there to comfort me and be by my side when I feel all alone. I know I cannot go through this life on my own. I'm not smart enough to try and live this crazy life by myself with no direction. The blessings that come from living the gospel are unlimited and amazing. Whenever i am having a hard time i can always think of the blessings that will come to me by being faithful.

How I live my faith

Although I'm not perfect, I work hard everyday to live the teaching of the gospel. Some of my standards I have chosen to help me are to not drink caffeine, avoid pg-13 movies, not watch tv on sundays, and closely monitor what I watch and listen to. It might sound restricting to some people but to me this is what keeps me happy and safe. Attending church and meetings help keep me focused on the Lord. I know if I keep my first priority on the Lord he will help me through ANYTHING.
