Hi I'm Leah

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a mother of three beautiful red headed kiddos. I am a dental student. I want to be a general dentist when I grow up:) I love spring time, wake boarding, traveling to new places, having fun with my siblings, husband, and kids, and learning.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised a Mormon. But like everyone else at some point you must build a strong foundation, a testimony of Christ, and make an active choice to follow Him. As I grow I feel my testimony is always developing and becoming stronger. There are many reasons why I love the church and why I chose to be Mormon. As a Mormon I have many opportunities to serve those around me, to provide wholesome activities for my children, and to be uplifted and optimistic about life. But most of all I feel the Holy Ghost in my life, and being a Mormon feels right. The church teaches me, above else, how to be a better person and it helps me to understand more about who I am, where I came from, and where I am going.

How I live my faith

I have participated in many different organizations in the church. I currently have a calling as the assistant humanitarian coordinator. In this calling I am able to organize service opportunities for the people in my ward to participate in as a group. I am also a visiting teacher. I love the visiting teaching program. As a visiting teacher I am able to go to other women's houses and visit with them, fellowship them, pray for them, and get to know people from all walks of life. The visiting teaching program helps to unify our ward and make us feel more like a ward family. I have also done much service in our youth organization, the primary. In primary I have served as a teacher who helps the children in the church to start to build their foundation of faith in Christ. I love the opportunity for service that the church provides. I feel closer to Christ when I am serving those around me.
