Hi I'm Robert

I was raised in Utah and now I'm living The Good Life in Nebraska, I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a husband and father of two - one married daughter living out of state and one son serving a mission for our Church in another country. We used to be empty nesters and now have over 60 young single adults, ages 18-30 helping us live the good life in Nebraska. Working with the youth of my church and Boy Scouts has allowed me to continually develop talents. I enjoy various sports, good movies, traveling, home improvement projects, and outdoor activities.

Why I am a Mormon

From the teachings and examples of good parents and friends early in my life, I developed an understanding and sensitivity of God and Jesus Christ. The gospel principles taught in the LDS Church were simple, true and brought personal happiness. Having a foundation of truth and happiness from the Gospel of Jesus Christ allows me to be a better person and helps guide decisions in my life. The family is the foundation and I want to be with my family forever.

How I live my faith

Each day I try to improve from the previous day not only as a husband, father, community volunteer, executive and church leader, but as a child of God. I strive to follow the example of my Savious, Jesus Christ. I strive to be honest and kind. Some people say that I am too nice, however I believe that if you treat people well and show respect for them, they will rise to any occassion. In our church I assist young single adults who are away from home going to school or working to get through struggles or challenges in their lives and provide encouragement to have high moral standards and live the teachings of Christ.
