Hi I'm Bryson

I was born and raised in Mesa, Arizona. I love to play, write, and listen to uplifting music, and I love to laugh. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am 19 years old, and was recently called to serve in Twin Falls, Idaho as a full-time missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, and am excited to be a missionary and share with others the gospel of Jesus Christ, which I know to be true. I love to listen to music, play music, sing music, write music and even enjoy conducting music. I play three different instruments: the violin, the viola, and the piano, and I have enjoyed every second of the time I have spent practicing. I have written lots of music for choir, orchestra, piano, and even combinations of the three. I recently held a concert showcasing my music, performed by a choir and full orchestra ensemble that I assembled myself called the Mesa Studio Choir and Orchestra, and it was an amazing experience. I hope to one day conduct a major symphony.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that the Gospel of Jesus Christ as it is taught in this Church is true. The happiness and peace that I feel every day of my life is incomparable. Because of the Church, my family can be together with me forever, not just for this life. I cherish my family above all else, and so to have the opportunity to be with them forever is something that I would never give up. Of course, life has its challenges, and it isn't always easy to be a Mormon, but everyone has challenges, whether they are religious or not, but I have found that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints gives me the tools and strength to better deal with the struggles that I have. I know that this church is true, I know that God lives, I know that Jesus Christ lives and that through him we can be freed of the burden of guilt for wrong choices we have made, and I know that this church has the true gospel in its fullness.

How I live my faith

Part of how I live my faith, and how I participate in this church is through music. I love to perform for groups of people whenever I get a chance to, and although it does make me nervous, I know that if I pray to the Lord for help, that He will help me to play well, and I've had experiences where I have played better than I ever did when I was practicing, and I know that it is because I had divine help. Music is a powerful way for the Spirit to teach the doctrines of the Gospel, and to touch hearts. Through music, we can be taught by the Holy Ghost, and learn new things about ourselves. I have had opportunities to play piano and organ for the church meetings that I participate in, and I have seen how sacred music can bring the Spirit, and help to set the tone of the meeting. It really does draw me and others closer to the Savior, and that has brought such great happiness into my life.
