Hi I'm Anne

I have been working since 14 years old. I have a teenage son. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up on a ranch in northern California. Earned a college degree in IT. Have been working in the IT field ever since. Most of my free time outside of work is spent taking care of my teenage son and being involved in the church youth program.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the Mormon church and come from a long line of LDS family history. At a certain time after graduation from college and while living and working in CA, I wanted to know if what I'd been taught and living all my life was really true. One night while on my knees in prayer, I came to know that Jesus Christ is real and is my personal friend; and He is someone who will always be my friend no matter what happens in life. I have continued my love of the gospel of Jesus Christ, even taking 1 1/2 off work to serve a full-time mission. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints or the Mormon church is organized to help people come unto Christ and to stay on the path that leads to Christ. It is full of good people and solid programs to help along the way.

How I live my faith

I live my faith my staying true to the promises I made when baptized. Family and personal prayer is a continual event in our home. We read scriptures and listen to modern-day apostles and prophets and heed their counsel. Family support helps to maintain my faith and to live it daily with courage and determination to carry on, even in hard times. I have spent many years serving in the youth program helping to organize activities and Sunday instruction. I also have the chance to get to know women of the church by visiting in their homes and becoming involved in their lives spiritually. We help each other stay close to the Lord and to maintain our faith. We help each other temporally as well, when the need arises.
