Hi I'm Joe

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up just outside Albany, NY in a family of 5 kids. I am currently attending Arizona State University and pursuing a Master's degree in Urban Planning. I love to listen to music, travel the world, learn about new places and cultures, and meet new people.

Why I am a Mormon

Growing up in a Mormon family, I was taught to live the Gospel of Jesus Christ through the doctrine of the church. While I didn't always know this was the right path for me in my life, I ultimately gained an understanding through my own choices and decisions. I came to understand the teachings of the The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints are true because I practiced them in my life and prayed to God about them. A loving Heavenly Father has given me the ability to choose for myself whether I want to follow the teachings of the Mormon Church. Whenever I follow God's commandments and choose righteous things in my life, I feel closer to Him and this gives me peace and happiness that I am on the right path.

How I live my faith

Attending church meetings weekly on Sunday is a major part of living my faith. However, daily prayer and scripture study along with being kind to those around me is ultimately what I believe is most important. It might be impossible to be perfect in this life, but as long as I'm striving to be a better person and improve myself every day then I know I can make a difference.
