Hi I'm Alise:)

I'm the youngest of 10 kids. I'm beast at Hula, for a white chick. I love all dance & music. I love my family:) and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My absolute most favorite thing i do is dance. ive been dancing and singing since i was three. i love the feel of music, thats why i dance:)! i was born into a combined family of 9 other children whom i love very much. im currently in highschool and plan to go to college to study dance. Ive most recently been experiencing the beautiful art of Hula and must say, as i've been told many times, that im pretty fantstastic at it for "a white girl!" I also have been taking and performed ballroom and all sorts of other dances. my brother closest to my age and i always enjoy singing together, its great because it bonds us together and we got some mad skillz. i cant wait to see what great works my heavenly father has in store for me and i want to live my life to the fullest:)!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church after my 9 other siblings and have continued strong since. I love the gospel so much because just the thought of having it in my life, brings me a great feeling of peace and joy. The church is filled with people who are remarkable in all their own ways and have amazing spiritual gifts and talents. Being born into the church, i didnt have to really search near and far to find out that this is where i belong. ive had hard times in my life as everyone has, but when i get down on my knees to speak with my Heavenly Father and when i read my scriptures and talk to my wonderful, amazing parents, i realize that my Savior and Redeemer, Jesus Christ knows exactly how i feel and im not alone and i will never be alone. Even if there are times when i may at first feel completely alone, and i have, i know i am not. I know my Heavenly Father and his son Jesus Christ love me and want only the best for me. I know that if i live the gospel and commandments i will be able to return to Heavenly Father again. i know he loves all of us and wants US ALL to return to him.

How I live my faith

I get to go to mutual every tuesday and see all my ward friends:D its super fun and builds my character:)! At mutual we mainly work on our personal progress goals which prepare us for the future of adulthood. once a month or so us young women get together with the young men for a combined activity in which we participate in fun games or service projects or just an awesome pool party! i also attend church every week to learn and grow in the truthfulness of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Ive recently been called to be the young womens, secretary for my age group. im super excited about that:) hopefully itll teach me organization and responsibilty.:):):)

What is faith?

Alise:)
To have faith is to " hope for things not seen, which are true" (Book of Mormon, Alma 32:21). When i was just a wee little lass in my sunday school class (Primary, children ages 3-12), we always sang a little song called "Faith Is Like a Little seed", the song talks about faith seeming like a seed and if planted it will grow, "faith is a feeling within my heart, when i do right i know." you see, faith is such a wonderful thing to grasp, but if not tested and exercised ( water and sunlight) it will never grow. Faith in God is more than a theoretical belief in Him. To have faith in God is to trust Him, to have confidence in Him, and to be willing to act on your belief in Him. It is a principle of action and power. Show more Show less
