Hi I'm Alegria (Joy) Curiel

Like my name my life has been a little unique as well! I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the 11 of 13 children from my parents who migrated in Arizona from Mexico during the early 70's. I have grown up with loving parents who wanted us to have a better future and have the opportunity to go to school! I am a currant college student at Arizona State University studying Elmentary Education. I love everything about life I just love to sing, dance, read, travel, movies, nature, being a great aunt, and hanging with out friends and family. I love to be happy and making everybody happy as well! I love being positive and be the best I can be!

Why I am a Mormon

Well, I am the first generation to be born into the church! My parents were converts and I have fully appreciated to be raise in a Christian home where my loving parents taught me the importance of the gospel. I do have a testimony that Joseph Smith is our prophet who restored the church and translated the Book of Mormon! I know Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ lives! I know that having the gospel is the true key of happiness no doubt about it! I really dont know how I can get this far in life without the gospel! Reason there is a smile on my face all the time because it just feels good to know how much Heavenly Father does love me.

How I live my faith

Prayer is the very most important thing I do before I leave my house! I feel that I cannot start my day without communiting my Heavenly Father first. I am very involved with the church organization such as going to church weekly and attend to our church activities and visiting teaching. I am also currently the Followship New Member Committee to welcome the new members to our church. I just want to point out that I do make mistakes but I still strive to be the best person and keep moving forward!
