Hi I'm Kaitlin

I'm a swimmer, a runner, a proud American, and most of all, I am a Mormon.

About Me

I love life! I love a lot, actually, and if I got the chance to write down everything I love, this box would look more like a novel. So, here's a summary of what I love the most... 1.I am an athlete (mainly a swimmer). An avid athlete. If it gets me moving, and let's me compete, I do it, and put my whole heart into it (and yes, I WILL win.) 2.I love my country. I am an active citizen, I love politics, and I am unwavering in my beliefs. 3.More than anything else, I love my religion, and I love my God. I live my life to the fullest, and hold to my beliefs with all of my heart. 4.I love making people laugh. If laughing really does make us younger, then I will permanently be stuck as an 18 year old. 5.I love my family! It may sound cliche, but really. I do. I'm an older sister (I fill that role quite nicely, I may add) to three younger siblings, and wouldn't trade any of them for anything! (Not even all the ice cream in the world)

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I love my Heavenly Father. I love everyone around me, and I want to live how Christ lived. And this religion makes that possible for me. It is more than just going to church on Sunday, it is a way of life. I have been molded into the person that I am because of the teachings, truths, and the happiness and security that it brings me. It helps me understand that I can be with my family for eternity, and that marriage doesn't end after death. His church guides me through a life of service, and giving. It gives me the opportunity to utilize the Atonement of Christ and repent of my transgressions. And most of all, this is the only church that reminds me that I am a Child of God. And as a child of His, created under His image, I can discover the full truth of His Gospel, live a life He would want me to live, and strive to become perfected through Christ's atonement, repentance, and faith. This, and hundreds of other reasons, are why I am a proud member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

How I live my faith

I strive to live my life as Christ lived His. I will be anyone's friend, no matter what they look like or how different our beliefs are. I have moved so many times in my life, I know exactly what it is like to be the "new girl" or the one without anyone to hang out with when Friday night rolls around. Because of this, what I am taught in church, and my love for others, I will always be there when anyone needs a friend. Sometimes all it takes is a smile and friendly wave! I have extremely high standards and morals, and won't back down on them for anyone. I do not drink, swear, smoke, or dress in any way that would displease my grandmother. I like to try and set an example, and let people know that I can have just as much fun, while still living a clean, morally upright life.
