Hi I'm Terri

I am a mother and grandmother. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a wife of 35 years, mother of 4, grandmother of 8, daughter, sister and friend. I am married to my best friend and sweetheart. I have been blessed to raise four wonderful children. While it has been challenging at times it has also been the most rewarding thing I've ever done. Sewing has always been a hobby of mine for many years. Making draperies and home fashion is a love and small side business for me. Presently I work part time for the airlines so that I can travel all over to visit my wonderful grandchildren and mother.

Why I am a Mormon

The longer I belong to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints the more I understand God's plan for me. The gospel of Jesus Christ blesses me with peace in a challenging world. It helps me have faith in the future. I belong to the Relief Society which is the women's organization in the church. It is the largest women's organization on the earth. Each week we study and learn how to enrich our families, serve others and draw closer to our Savior. Relief Society provides opportunities for me to practice what we have learned on Sundays. The Gospel of Jesus Christ teaches me that my family can be eternal. The spirit has testified of this to me. As a child I attended church meetings by myself. I felt the warmth of the Holy Ghost testifying to me that God knew who I was. Even today I feel that same spirit and it continues to confirm in my heart and in my mind that this is God's true church and he wants me here.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by spending time with my family. Our family loves to spend time together. We gather frequently to teach each other from the scriptures. We spend time serving the less fortunate and even each other. We also play together by swimming, camping or just talking. We have fun together. On Sundays at church I teach a class of simple gospel principles. During the week I try to get to know my neighbors better. I look for opportunities to serve them and to teach them about this wonderful gospel of Jesus Christ.
