Hi I'm Shadean

I am a country girl. I love my family. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am an only child. I love to be outside with my friends and my family. I probably have too much vitamin D in my body because of how much I am outside. I love kids, they are so honest and sweet. My love for kids is what helped me decide what I want to be when I grow up. I am currently going to school to be an OB nurse. I love babys and the joy they bring to the world at their birth. I play the piano, flute and the violin. I do not play the flute and the violin as much anymore, but I still play the piano. Music is an important part of my life. Music is how I express myself. Anyone call tell what mood I am in my the music that I am playing.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents had a saying that I heard many times on Sunday mornings, "You can go to church happy or you can go sad, but you are going to church." Just like any teenager when I got to junior high I had to question everything my parents said, which included the church. I had my doubts and my concers about if what my parents and teachers had been teaching me was true. The fights and the arguments that my mother and I had were long and drawn out about anything and everything. Then one day eveything changed. The week before my 14th birthday my mother had complained of major chest pains so my dad took her to the hospital. There at the hospital the doctors could not find what was causing her to have such major pain. She came home from the hospital with an appointment to go back the next week so they could look inside and see what was wrong. It was a week later and the day after my birthday. I get called into the office and school. My dad has called the school to talk to me to tell me that my mother had just had a major heart attack. On a scale of 1 to 10 it was an 11. While the doctors were looking at her heart began to have pain. Pain like she has never known before. She says she would go into labor for a week than feel that pain again. She was semi conscience so she could communicate with the doctors. The doctors rushed to find what was wrong. What they found startled us all. Her frontal main artery of her heart was 99.9% pinched off. The doctors put a stent in to keep it inflated so the blood flow would be maintained. From what the doctors could tell was that her heart had been like this for a long time, so how she never had problems before astounded them. My mothers only reply was this, "My mission on earth to raise my daughter is not over yet," To hear my mother say those words took my breath away. I went home and read 2Nephi 22:2. The words of that verse touch me like never before. I knew right then and there that my Savior loves me and wathces out for me.

How I live my faith

I am a teacher for little children. I teach little kids that just start kindergarten. I love to teach those little kids because they are still so innocent and they love their Savior. They teach me more than I teach them. Their willingness to serve and to help others strengthes my testomony each and every sunday. I am also on a commite that organizes activities for the yound single adults ages 18-30. Plainning activies that are fun and engaging in play and in the gosple helps me remember that we can have fun while living our standards of the gosple. Being around kids that are willing to let their Savior be their guide then to be around yound adults who also have a strong testomony is a great strenth to me. Being in these two callings to the church has helped me to make new friends of all ages. I love to be around these people who strengthen my faith and build me up. While I am learning from them I hope that I can be that type of example for others. I wish for every person in the world be feel the happiness I feel each and every day by knowing my that their Savior, redemer, and brother is there fore them watching out for them each and every day. That is my wish to all the world for young and old, male and female. I want everyone to knwo that I have a testomony of my Savior and the Book of Morman. I know that Joseph Smith saw God the Father and Jesus Christ. I know this church is true and I love it with all my heart.
