Hi I'm Daabid

I am studying to be a Geologist, and want to become a Paleontologist and discover a dinosaur, and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a college student studying to be a geologist and want to be a paleontologist. My hobbies and interests include hanging out with my brothers, friends, and my girlfriend. I also play video games and card games as well as being active when I can. This includes enjoying the outdoors, playing paintball, rock climbing, repelling, fishing, rock hounding, and blowing things up.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born as a third generation member of the church. My mom and dad taught me church principles and standards which have helped me be the person I am. These same messages have been conveyed by the church leaders and I feel in my heart that they are true. I constantly see the Lord's hand throughout my day blessing me and my family as I am obedient. As I have read the Book of Mormon and the Bible, I have been able to apply my life to their teachings. In doing so, many of the problems that I have faced in everyday life have been solved. I know both these books are true and that together they help me live by the example Jesus has set.

How I live my faith

I live my faith according to the standards of the church and applying them to my life. I feel that by doing this I can become closer to my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. I also wish to be an example that my three younger brothers can look up to by seeing how much this gospel means to me and how much it has helped me in my life. I am currently waiting to leave for my mission to spread the message of our church, that Christ's church is again on the Earth and that we have a living prophet to help teach and guide us. Serving is important to me because I want to share this glad message with everyone because I feel that it is my duty to help people know that God and his son, Jesus Christ, love them and have prepared for them a way to return back to them. While I wait, I am preparing as I serve as a ward missionary. As a ward missionary, I talk to those that don't understand much about the church in my community and also sit by people in church who are new or are alone.
