Hi I'm Sarah

I'm quiet but friendly. A history fanatic. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the 5th out of 6 children. I am a single student attending college and it's been so much fun having my two sisters here with me. I like making friends but definitely have a quiet way about me. I am studying to be a high school history teacher because my passion is history. I see things in a "history vision" you could say. Anything and everything is history to me and I love learing new things. My other interests are playing tennis and volleybal, but I like to get out and play most sports. I enjoy reading good books, watching movies, listening to music, and spending time with my friends and family.

Why I am a Mormon

I love history! And the best history book I have ever read is the Book of Mormon. I was raised in the the church and loved the things that were taught and always wanted to obey and please my parents. I believed in the church because they believed in the church and I trusted them with my whole heart. But my senior year in high school I came to some realizations. First, that I would be going to college next year and having to make decisions on my own. Second, that if the church was true then I needed to be serious about it, totally committed, and converted. So I read and studied the Book of Mormon that year and I felt a change in my heart. I didn't even make it through the whole book before I broke into tears and knew that this church was true. I know that this doesn't happen to everyone but for me it did. I knew God, my Heavenly Father, loved me, and my heart changed toward him. And I knew I wanted to live my life the way he would have me live it. I am a Mormom because I love my Heavenly Father, I love Jesus and want to follow his teachings. I know that the only way to be happy is through him. I gained my own testimony of this church by reading the Book of Mormon. I love it so much, it has taught me to be a better person and how I can return to live with my Heavely Father. I know that it is another testiment of Christ and it compliments the Bible completely.

How I live my faith

I try to live my life in such a way that when people see me they can see the light of Christ. I keep his commandments because I know by doing so I am happier. I also live my faith by serving my family, try to do my best in school, be friends with eveyrone I meet, and I pray and read my scriptures every day.
