Hi I'm Rance

I love Jesus Christ and know He is my Savior. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

The one word that best sums up my life is family. I have incredible parents that taught me, my three sisters and three brothers by word and example about the worth of each human being, the importance of compassion, and the source of true and lasting happiness. Though I live far from my parents and siblings, they are my best friends. I have five children of my own and they are the center of my life. I try daily to pass on to them the pieces of wisdom and love that my parents gave to me. I am lucky enough to have a wife that shares my love of family and helps me so much in raising my children and improving myself.

Why I am a Mormon

As I grew up, I was a Mormon because that is what was taught to me by my parents. They told me about Jesus Christ and His gospel. They explained the reasons to follow Him. They gave me a great foundation. As an adult I am a Mormon because I have used the tools that my parents gave me to find truth. I have examined the teachings of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and have felt in my heart and soul the Holy Spirit confirm that they are true. That confirmation is something that I treasure and thank my Heavenly Father for. I know Jesus Christ and the better I know Him, the more I want to be like Him.

How I live my faith

Jesus Christ taught us that the greatest commandment was to love the Lord. He followed this with the next greatest commandment to love our neighbor. These are both commandments that require a lifetime of effort, daily struggles in body and spirit. Service is a wonderful way to learn both of these. I have served in different capacities at church - teaching the youth, visiting other families to strengthen and encourage each other, speaking in our local congregation about the gospel of Jesus Christ, helping to lead others to Christ. All this while receiving the same service from others. We all work together to help each other come unto Christ.
