Hi I'm Kayle

I'm a Mormon. Born and raised in Arizona. Been in most of the States. Spent years overseas in Hawaii, Asia.

About Me

I was born into the LDS (Mormon) religion. My father died when I was two. My mother remarried. I finished 3 1/2 years of college. (ASU & MCC) I joined the Marines & it was overseas where I decided I wanted to know for myself, rather than what my mother taught me, if the Church was true. I was on the beach all night. By morning it was revealed to me that the Church was true, that it was a Church of common sense. For example it made sense that you don't pay a person to preach the word of God. It made sense that they are three distinct individuals. There is God the Father, his son Jesus Christ, and the Holy Ghost. I didn't finish college because my roots lay in logging. My father was a logger. He died at age 27. His father died in a logging accident at age 28. I owned my own logging company when I retired. I've been married 46 years to Vicki and we have seven children.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon simply because it's true. Not because people told me, but because I read and prayed and found out for myself. Read the Book of Mormon. Pray about it. Common sense also tells me God will give us Prophets today as he did in earlier times. Why would he not? The Bible and the Book of Mormon go hand in hand.

How I live my faith

I have served all my life. I am not a perfect man but I have served in all capacities of the Church when called. From the Bishopric, Sunday School, Young Men, Primary, Scouts. I've been in the community too. School organizations, various volunteering such as a Board member of the Fire Distric, Court Appointed Special Advocate for children, etc. Service, whether Church or Community is showing love for God. I believe strongly in service to your fellow man.
