Hi I'm Linda

I'm a Mormon. My ancestors were pioneers. I have taught school. I have 6 children and 22 grandchildren.

About Me

College was very important in the family I grew up in. I have a degree in Home Economics and a minor in Math. I have taught both Home Economics and Math. I love to sew, knit, crochet, do counted cross stitch, embrodier, etc. I have been married for 44 years, I have 3 sons and 3 daughters and 11 grandsons and 11 granddaughters. I love to have people over to our home because it seems like an easy way to get to know them better. I keep in touch with old friends through e-mail. I love my I-phone.

Why I am a Mormon

I love to hear stories. So I have always loved to hear the pioneer stories about my ancesters. I love them for sacrificing so I could be born in the church and have the opportunity to pray about whether or not the church was true. I have done that, and know that the church is the true church on the earth today. I love that the church wants me to keep my body clean and pure, spiritually and physically. That has brought many blessing into my life.

How I live my faith

I have had the opportunity to serve in the church in many ways. I have always been blessed for my service. I have had the opportunity to visit many women through the Visiting Teaching Program and have made many wonderful friends because I was assigned to visit them monthly that I would not have as friends otherwise. It always amazes me how abundently Heavenly Father blesses us for any little thing we do when we are in his service, which makes me want to do more to serve and then he blesses me more. You can never get even with the Lord, He is always ahead. I have learned to love learning because of the church. I read alot and am always trying to learn how to do new things.
