Hi I'm Angelica

I'm an Alaskan born Arizonian. I love eating . I have baby hands and I am a Mormon.

About Me

Hmm, I'm not sure of what I can say. There is nothing super interesting about me. Although, I once survived an entire week off of nothing, but peanut butter and green beans. I am pretty open to trying new things. I don't like to be boring, life is to short for that. Food is life. Aside from that, Outdoors is where it is at. I love hiking, camping, volleyball pretty much anything. I love painting, drawing and doing anything to keep me busy. Another thing that I do in my spare time is read. I can never get sick of reading a good book. The most interesting book I have read is the Book of Mormon (for real though!). I have been blessed to serve in the beautiful Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania mission. PPM is where it is at! I was born and raised in the church, but as everyone else, I had to receive a witness for myself. I did! How great it is to know the truth, to know and believe in a Being much greater and more powerful than myself. I love him and I truly love this gospel.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have gained a knowledge of this gospel and I know it is true. How you might ask? Because I have felt the truth radiate through me and bring me a joy I could never experience without it. I am certain we have a heavenly father who loves us and created us to have the ability to return to him. And I am certain that we have a savior who loves us so much he gave his life in the most excruciating way. I know the Book of Mormon is the word of God along side the Bible. I know all of these things to be true because I have prayed many times and the answer has been yes every time!

How I live my faith

Living my faith is not always an easy task. There are so many obstacles and people that try to interfere with us trying to be the best we can be, but I have found that by leaning on my Heavenly Father I am able to withstand anything. I live my faith by looking at each day as an opportunity to do something good, by seeing the positive in situations that seem impossible, by trusting in the Lord in whatever I do! I know the happiness that comes from knowing the fullness of the gospel and it is something that I want to help others understand too. I am serving my mission to make that difference in someone else's life and I hope it is something I can continue to do throughout my life!

What is the Relief Society?

For me personally Relief Society is exactly what the title infers. It is literally a relief from our society, from all the troubles of our week. We share our testimonies, participate in discussing topics, even share parental advice, but most of all we show love and appreciation for one another. It is a blessing and a comforter in my life!
