Hi I'm Richard

I love the outdoors. I love animals. I love to hunt. I am a Mormon.I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have been married for 61 years. I have a son, a daughter, special daughter-in-law and son-in-law, 10 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren. I am retired from the theatre business after 35 years and then worked for the Mesa Public School district for 16 years as a maintenance assistant to the principal at a junior high school. My wife and I love to travel in a trailer to Alaska and all over Arizona. We have been to every state except for Hawaii, and as soon as they build a bridge we are going there too! I am a very happy man and have a wonderful wife that supports me in everything I do.

Why I am a Mormon

The reason I am a Mormon is because of the family values that we have. We are a very close family. My son has been one of my closest friends and we have hiked and jeeped and hunted together for many years. He is the reason I have become a good Church member with my daughter and especially my wife. What is very important to me and our family is that our son, when he was 16 years old, baptized me a member of the Church. It made us all feel so close and we want to always be together and we know that we can because of the teachings of the Church in which we believe so strongly.

How I live my faith

I go to church every Sunday. I regularly visit other families in my neighborhood as a home teacher. It is a good feeling to offer help to someone that needs help. It makes you feel closer to your friends and neighbors. We have family prayer regularly as this makes us even feel closer and to want to be there for each other. And we really do want to be together forever. I can’t thank Father in Heaven enough for the special wife and special sons and daughters we have who are so good for me.
