Hi I'm Karissa

I'm a college student. I'm a yoga instructor. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a college student studying psychology. I teach yoga, play piano and violin, and love thai food.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that the gospel is true. I know that my family would not be the same if it were not for the gospel and I know that I would not have the blessings that I have if I were not a member. I have a strong testimony of the beauty of the Atonement and I know that through Jesus Christ I can live celestially. I have had many prayers answered and have experienced many miracles. My life has been blessed by the choices my parents made and I hope that the choices I make will bless the lives of my posterity for years to come. I know that the gospel of Jesus Christ is what inspires me to move forward to eternal life and I am excited by the opportunities the gospel presents to me as a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I participate in community service events all throughout my community. I serve as a visiting teacher in my ward, and I attend Institute regularly.

Why is it important for us to take care of our bodies? Why are our bodies called temples of God in the Bible?

Karissa
Our bodies are divine creations made in the image of our Heavenly Father, who is God, and his son Jesus Christ. Do not forget that we look just like they do, and after this life our bodies will be perfected as theirs are. Do not defile your body, in any way, shape or form, and show gratitude for it through cleanliness, health, and exercise. Show more Show less
