Hi I'm Nicki

I'm a nursing student. I play the ukulele. I love foreign films. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in one of the largest cities in the United States and I am the youngest of six children. I went to a 5A inner-city high school where I was one of only a handful of Mormon students. I applied and got into nursing school and I graduate in May, and when I'm not in clinicals or classes I work at a local hospital. I absolutely love to travel and I always end up falling in love with the places I visit. I'm learning French and trying to learn how to skateboard. I like to laugh until I cry, go on long runs, and do things I've never done before.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because the gospel of Jesus Christ makes me extremely happy. It sounds simple, and it is. I know why I am here on Earth, what my purpose and my goal is, and I know that I am a daughter of God and he loves me. I know that I am sealed to be with my family for all eternity, and I know that I will see my family members again who have died. I know without any doubts that Heavenly Father hears our prayers and that he does answer them. Saying my prayers morning and night, having that constant communication with my Father in Heaven, has blessed my life in more ways than I could ever express. I know that the gospel of Jesus Christ is the truth, and that if we live it's principles we can return to live with our Heavenly Father!

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith each day by being kind, patient, and charitable with those that I come in contact with. I read the scriptures each day, especially the Book of Mormon. I say my prayers when I wake up and again each night. I pay my tithing to my Bishop, which is 10% of my income. I go to church each week to learn about the Savior and partake of the sacrament. I organize activities for the women's group in my ward so that we can become better friends with each other and grow closer to our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ.
