Hi I'm Penny

I'm a full time mother of five, married to my high school sweetheart. I love music, reading, and cooking and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a busy mom still trying to figure it all out. I play the flute (which I studied in college) piano, and organ. I love to read and cook and do just about any kind of craft. I'm working on getting into better shape and keeping my life in order.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in a small Montana town where my family was the only LDS family there. We traveled 60 miles to attend church meetings. Being the only members of the Church in our town and school and having to travel so far to church meant that we couldn't be wishy-washy in our commitment. We were going to be a church-going family or we weren't. End of discussion. My family choose to be commited. My testimony of the truthfulness of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints grew through the years from a trust in my partents' testimonies to a trust in the truth I was learning and feeling. I studied and prayed for myself to know the truth. And now I have the oppurtunity to take my own children to church each week and teach them how to find the answers for themselves.

How I live my faith

I have worked with the adult women of the church for a long time. I have really enjoyed the fellowship I feel with other women. Now I currently help teach and have activities with the teenage girls at church. I really enjoy working with the 12-13 year olds that are in our congregation. I feel the most important way I share my faith is in my home with my family.
