Hi I'm Leslie

I'm a full-time mom in Arizona. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a stay at home mom who volunteers at school, drives kids to soccer and softball practices, leads a group of young women at church, and does too much laundry! When I have time, I like to read a good book and eat M&M's, watch movies with my kids, bake treats and sew quilts.

Why I am a Mormon

I was blessed to be born into a loving family where I was taught the gospel from the time I was small. I have been an active member of the church my whole life. I belong to the church because I believe the gospel contains the true path back into the presence of God the Father and Jesus Christ. I have felt the truth of the Book of Mormon and the truth of gospel teachings through impressions from the Holy Spirit.

How I live my faith

Every Sunday I attend church to take the sacrament. I help lead our ward's group of 12- and 13-year old young women by teaching Sunday lessons and helping them plan and carry out activities. We have planned service projects to help feed the needy and to spend time with the elderly. We also teach the girls homemaking skills and encourage them to achieve personal, spiritual and educational goals. At home, I try to prepare and teach a gospel-oriented family home evening lesson and activity every Monday night and my husband and I lead our family in daily family prayer and scripture study. I feel that God blesses my life whenever I use my time and energy to serve Him and my family or community.
