Hi I'm Kristen

I am a mother. A teacher. A friend. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have lived in Arizona almost my whole life but lived a few other places as a military brat of the Air Force. I joined the Church when I was 18. I married young and am now divorced but have happily grown and moved forward from my trials. I have a daughter who keeps me busy and a classroom of rambunctious children. I love to be with friends and family and to craft craft craft!

Why I am a Mormon

I had felt there was something missing in my life. I have always had a great family and great friends, but I was searching for more. Something that was missing personally. Through good examples and friendships, I found the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I was baptized when I was 18. Through happy and sad times it has been Heavenly Father who has been the constant. I gained an eternal perspective as member of the Church that I did not have before. It helps me through tough days. I feel my purpose here on this earth and am grateful knowing that I am never alone.

How I live my faith

I serve others when I can and am grateful for others that serve me. I try to teach my daughter important family values and am constantly striving to be a good example to her and those around me. I love to visit with friends and neighbors and feel truly grateful for my extended ward family.
