Hi I'm David

I am a husband and father of 4 children. I work in wireless cell phone engineering. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Rowland Heights, CA, a suburb of Los Angeles. I was raised in the Lutheran Church but converted to the LDS church when I was 19 years old. I currently work in wireless engineering for one of the major cellular phone carriers. I enjoy spending time with my wife and the 3 of my 4 children that still live a home. I also enjoy travel and have volunteered my time in the past for a couple of railroad historical organizations. I also spend time volunteering for various church and community service projects and programs.

Why I am a Mormon

When I was 18 years old I first met and got to know members of the church. I was impressed with the sense of family and togetherness that they shared. This was something that had been lacking in my life growing up. I came to know of the truthfulness of the gospel and God's plan of happiness for each of us through our savior Jesus Christ. I joined the church at 19 years old in 1980 and have been incredibly blessed every since. I was able to serve a full-time mission for the church in the Atlanta area and was married for all eternity to my high-school sweetheart in 1983. We have 4 wonderful children who have enriched our lives greatly.

How I live my faith

I do my best each day to treat others with love and respect as taught by the Savior. I have opportunities to reach out and help others through various efforts that are sponsored by the church and the community. I teach a Sunday School class for the 15 year old young people in our ward (congregation), working with youth is one of the most important things that any of us can do.
