Hi I'm Sarah

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hello! My name is Sarah. I've been married to my best friend for 5 fun-learning years. We have 2 beautiful babes; a boy and a girl. I was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes as an adult. I love to sing, dance and eat sweets (not good when you're a diabetic) :) I'm obsessed with music and love Country. I wish I was creative and crafty, but that bone didn't get in my body. I live off others' crafty skills. Sometimes I enjoy cooking and baking. I'm not a fan of doing dishes. I like playing volleyball and watching it. I'm not great at anything, but I'm good at lots. :) I am a college grad, but wish I had majored in something more practical that was easier to get a job with.

Why I am a Mormon

I chose to be baptized when I was 8 years old. It was my choice. My mom raised me in the LDS church and my dad supported here even though he is not a member of the LDS church. I definitely have had questions along the way about the truthfulness of the church, because I have wanted a sure knowledge that it is true. Along the way I have seen blessings from living gospel principles that have strengthened my testimony of it's truthfulness. I have also had moments of utilizing the atonement of our Savior Jesus Christ. In these moments I have come to see how much our Savior loves us and really did die for us and has felt all our sorrows. Lastly, I can see no better way to live my life than following the teaching of the LDS church. Even if it weren't true, which I know it is, there is no better way to live your life and recieve all the blessings I have.

How I live my faith

How do I live my faith... that's an excellent question. I feel that I've been blessed with a desire to live a righteous life. It hasn't ever been very hard for me to make good decisions. That doesn't mean that I'm perfect and haven't made mistakes along the way, but I've always had a desire to correct my wrongs and stay close to my Savior. I enjoy being of service to others and just being a good friend. I like to be a listening ear and someone that can be trusted. I really try not to judge others. I go to church every Sunday. I try to set a good example for my children and help them know that they are children of God.
