Hi I'm Ben

I have a laid back attitude and am easy going, I love to visit family and I am a Morman

About Me

I have lived in multiple places which include Texas and Washington. I have made many freinds and have traveled throughout the United States. I am a proud father of three strong boys and a lovely daughter which I give all the credit to my lovely wife. I love vintique cars as well as good American muscle cars. I also have a eye for motorcycles in the touring and cruising class. Family is important to me and I have love for history. I have interest with genyology and am enjoying learning where my family has been. I am a Husband, father, son, brother, uncle and a friend to many people and I am a Mormon

Why I am a Mormon

Growing up attending multiple churches I have always known that there had to be more out there. I was introduced to The Church of Jesus Christ when I was a teenager and I did not have anything good to say from what I heard. I attended some missionary lessons that my sister was takeing to challenge the missionaries and I ended up accepting a challenge from them which was to read the Book of Morman. Well I took up thei challenge and read the Book of Morman, then I took two more complete Missionary lessons before I committed to be baptised. I am the only member of my family that is baptised and I feel I am a great example as to how the Gospel can bless their lives also. My life has been blessed by not only being able to attend the Temple but I have been blessed with a loveing and supportive wife, a wonderful family and my parents and siblings look to me when their lives spin out of control. I may not not all the answers but having the Lord on my side sure gives me a lot of confidence. I am a Morman because I love the Gospel and enjoy the second witness the book of Morman gives. I have had many questions answered after being baptized and there are no questions I have found that the Gospel or the Book of Morman can not answer. I have to say I am greatful for the challenge those missionaries gave me 25 plus years ago for I truely would not have found the full extent of the Gospel and the Love that our Heavenly Father has for me.

How I live my faith

Though I have physical problems that prevent me from sitting for long periods of time I do attend Church and enjoy participating in meetings. I attend these meetings not in the normal way as to what you maybe used to seeing someone at church for when you spot me in the pew with my family sitting next to me you will see me kneeling on the floor. I have organized activities for members of our Ward along with others that would give a spiritual feeling for members. I am currently serving the Bishop as a secretary as to make his day a bit more organized. I try to have all forms, charts and papers for meetings and interviews at his fingertips. It can be a challenge at times but it is the least I can do for what I have recieved from our Heavenly Father. When I work with the youth I know that they look up to me as an example so I try to be a good example because I know the youth could take away a trait of mine and incorperate it into their lives. It is important the youth learn the importance of their actions and the decissions that they make. We need to stand tall in their eyes so they will yern to be like us leaders. I always strive to be honest with my dealings with others and again I strive to stand tall and demonstrate a good example of our Heavenly Father

What is the Mormon lifestyle like? How do Mormons live?

Mormans are like anyone else. They are your neighbors, work partner and maybe even the clerk at your local grocery store. We have desires to have friends, families and many oppertunities to make memories. The difference that I believe is that we have a close connection to our heavenly father and we disire to do his works before ours. We have a drive to better ourselves and our families and we do this through the blessings of our Heavenly Father. We know that Heavenly Father walks with us and is always there for us when we need him. Show more Show less
