Hi I'm Glenn

I grew up in rural Arizona, been self employed almost all of my adult life. I love the outdoors and sports. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a husband, father, and grandfather. My family is my greatest and favorite asset. I love the outdoors, and playing sports. I enjoy archery hunting the best, especially elk in the early fall. I enjoy muzzle load and rifle hunting too. I play competive softball . We owned a sevice type company for twenty years and then sold it. Since then we have invested in small businesses and Real Estate. I've coached youth baseball teams ranging from 7-16 years old. I work at staying physically fit and enjoy living an active lifestyle. I love doing things with my family I have an amazing wife. She is a wonderful mother and grandmother. I have learned so much from her.

Why I am a Mormon

My family goes back for many generations being members of the Mormon Church. I have great examples of faithful members in my family and have been blessed by their love and examples. This was a great heritage to be raised in and I have felt the love of God in many ways. I had many experiences in my youth that helped me to believe the church was true. There came a time when I needed to know how I would live my life, and should I continue following the teachings of the church. As a teenager I came to feel I needed to know more clearly for myself. I began to want to know what my Heavenly Father wanted me to do in life. I began to pray and question. After a time I was blessed with the peaceful assurance that this church is God's Church on the earth, having been restored by the prophet Joseph Smith. I came to know that it is led by a living prophet and that the Book of Mormon is true. This has been an incredible blessing in my life. I find great joy and comfort in knowing that Jesus Christ is my Savior. He is the Son of God and is my mediator with our Father in Heaven. I know that through Christ and God's plan we can return to live with our Heavenly Father as families. I have felt and continue to feel the love of God in my life and the love that Christ has for us through his willingness to suffer in our behalf. I have received reassurances through out my life that I am on the right path.

How I live my faith

Because of the doctrines of the church I want to be a better husband, father, grandfather and person. I have been blessed with many opportunities to serve in this church. I have been called to possitions of leadership and trust. Many of the years our children were growing up, I had responibilies that required me to spend many hours away from my family. I would not do this unless I know this is the Lord's work. It has been a blessing to work with members of the church and we have been blessed by their faith and examples. The doctrine of the church that emphazises families has helped us so much. Our lives have been blessed as we see our adult children and their children being blessed as they follow the Savior's plan. A tesimony of Christ is such a blessing in my life. I want to be more like him! Christ is perfect and I am far from perfect, but my faith gives me hope and as I live the teaching of the church which are the teachings of Christ I feel the strength and the blessing from this life style and I know that through him all things are possible. I am currently working with young men that are 16-18 years old. This has brought a lot of joy in my life.
