Hi I'm Esther

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a stay at home mom. I have been married for 5 years and have 2 children. I graduated from BYU with a degree in History Teaching. I currently live in Colorado. My hobbies include sports, hiking, scrapbooking, photo editing, and hanging out with family and friends.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because it makes me happy. I have been a member all of my life. And no matter what I have experienced, the Church has been a constant source of peace, direction, and happiness for me. I remembered when I first prayed to know that the Church was true. I expected some big, grand thing to happen. But that wasn't the case. As I sat there quietly, I was filled with a good feeling. And I continue to have that good feeling as I live the standards of my religion. I have come to recognize that good feeling as the Holy Ghost which has been a wonderful companion in my life and helps me know right from wrong.

How I live my faith

My faith affects every part of my life. It gives me the direction and hope I need to endure the stresses of every day life. It helps me know what is most important in this life and prioritize my life accordingly. Family is definitely one of the most important things to me, so I focus a lot of time and attention on those relationships. I also enjoy all of the service opportunities that come from being a member of this Church. I'm able to help others in need and form lasting relationships with them. Currently I serve as a teacher and an adviser to the young women of our Church. I love working with the youth and seeing the great potential that they have.
