Hi I'm Tina C.

I was born & raised on the East coast in the 70"s I felt like the only Mexican/American, Mormon, Military child on the East coast.

About Me

I love my husband and my family! I love sign language, going on splits with the missionaries, going to the Temple, reading scriptures, my pets, dancing, music, singing, playing games with friends, and making jewelery. I love to learn new things and try some of them. I love to hear my husband read. He makes the words he reads come alive.

Why I am a Mormon

Most of my extended family is Catholic but my mom was the second one in her family to become a Mormon. She taught me the gospel of Jesus Christ but she also taught me to pray, study it out in my mind and how to know how the Holy Ghost talks to me and tells me when things are from God our Heavenly Father. I have studied and prayed about the Gospel that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. The answer I got from the Holy Spirit was yes this is the true Gospel of Jesus Christ. This is His church and I was not only baptized but served a mission for a year and a half sharing The Word Of God.

How I live my faith

I try each day to do what is right. No one is perfect but the comfort I have is knowing this statement. The true mistake is to stop trying. That is what repentance is for. That is why God sent His Son. I try to put God first. If I do that then everything else will either fall into place or be out of my life. I try to let the love of my God dictate what I do with my time and my life. My knowledge, relationships, and memories will be all I take with me into the next life. I will do everything in my power to make my self ready for when my Savior comes again.
