Hi I'm Cole Jensen

I love working on cars and writing music, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a gear-head, have been my whole life thanks to my Dad. Since getting my first car, I have begun work on modifying it to my liking and learning as I go. I enjoy all sorts of sports such as football, skateboarding, wakeboarding and snowboarding. In my free time, I like to spend time with my family, working on my car, going to car meets, spending time with my friends and learning new things. I have played guitar for 14 years and am trained in classical acoustic, but I love having "jam sessions" with my brother Jason who is a drummer. I love writing music, both lyrics and melodies to go along with them.

Why I am a Mormon

Being born in to the church, I have been continuously surrounded by the gospel and it's teachings. After feeding off my parent's testimonies and teachings for most my life, I decided that I needed to know for myself if the Church was true, and that everything I had been taught my whole life was correct. For a few years, I worked to gain a testimony of my own, in which I learned a lot about life outside of the church, and about what I did and didn't want in my life. In time, and after a firm confirmation from the Holy Spirit received in answer to my prayer, I came to a knowledge of the validity of the gospel. I know that this is the true Church, and without a shadow of a doubt in my mind that everything I have been taught my whole life is real. We have a living prophet on this earth today. Life is hard, but trying times give us the chance to learn and grow. It is my knowledge and comfort to know that families are eternal, and that I have the opportunity to be with the ones I love for time and eternity. It is my absolute knowledge that Joseph Smith truly is a prophet of God, and the Book of Mormon is evidence of that. I am grateful for the opportunity I have to be able to share this gospel that has blessed and changed my life, and for the opportunity God grants all of us to grow and change.

How I live my faith

I am currently serving as a church missionary in the Philadelphia Pennsylvania Mission for two years, where I have the great opportunity to share the restored gospel of Jesus Christ with those who have yet to hear and come unto it. I try to be an example of my beliefs to my friends in everything I do and strive to pattern my life after my Savior Jesus Christ.
