Hi I'm Clinton

I was born and raised in Arizona. I am a freshman in college. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a freshman in college. In high school I ran cross-country and played on the volleyball team. I also enjoy playing slow-pitch softball and watching many different sports. I work hard at school, but I never forget to have fun.

Why I am a Mormon

Throughout high school the friends that I made tended to be Latter-Day Saints and through their examples I started acting like them. Then when I was 17 my then girlfriend invited me to come to church with her one Sunday and from that day on I kept attending church with her. One day I was introduced to the missionaries and we set up a day to meet so I could learn more. After several months of learning the different lessons and waiting to ask my dad, who although isn't anti-Mormon is against the church, if I could be baptized I finally became a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I joined the Church because I gained a witness through the Holy Ghost of the truthfulness of the Book of Mormon and of the restoration of the gospel and the true church of Jesus Christ by Joseph Smith. Since then I have asked myself why I still go to church and how life would be without the Church in it and every time I remind myself of the witness I obtained and the feeling I get when the Holy Ghost touches my life. I know that the leader of this church is Jesus Christ and that President Monson, along with the First Presidency and the Quorum of the 12 Apostles, have been called by God to guide the Church and its members. I know that the Book of Mormon contains the fulness of the gospel of Jesus Christ and that it was written by prophets of old.

How I live my faith

I attend church every Sunday and participate in Family Home Evening with my ward on Monday nights. I do my best to read and study the scriptures daily and to pray in the morning and at night before I go to bed. a
