Hi I'm Dwight

I'm a Mormon. I grew up being a member of the church, and I am so blessed with a wonderful family. I live in Arizona.

About Me

I work for a demolition contractor and love my job. I have a beautiful wife and 7 children, 6 of which are married. My wife and I keep busy with our jobs and family. I like to garden and find my self working in the yard a lot. We also have a small home in the beautiful mountains and we love to spend time there to escape the summer heat. I've been very blessed to have most of my family close by and we try to get together often.

Why I am a Mormon

Even though I was raised a Mormon, I had to find out for myself if the teachings of my parents were true. In my late teens, I received a mission call to serve the Lord and teach the gospel to the people of Ireland. I received a witness that this was true and felt in my heart the sweet confirmation from the Holy Ghost. What a wonderful experience I had. The teachings I received from my parents were true and served as a foundation for the rest of my life. I am so thankful to have the knowledge that there is a living prophet to guide and direct us today.

How I live my faith

I try to be a good citizen of my community by living my religion. I have had the opportunity to work with the youth in teaching lessons and helping the young men advance in the Boy Scouts. I also have participated in helping families in need, helping them find housing, furniture, and food. What a blessing this has been. When we give of ourselves, we bless those we serve. The Lord in return blesses our efforts. Throughout my life I have been the witness to many small miracles in my life, and others lives. These good things are by design, not chance. I find great comfort knowing that there is a loving Heavenly Father who knows each one of us. He is our creator.
