Hi I'm Elizabeth

I was born and raised in Omaha, and I believe I was born to be an Interpreter for the deaf. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to sing and write music. I carry no rythm whats so ever. I am not a mother (I'm 16) I would love to be one someday though. I am taking a college credit through Metro eventhough I am only a junior in high school. Before I became a Mormon I was lost. Nothing seemed right or in place. There are still times, and I am sure there will be many more times, that things don't go my way. I have learned that things aren't supposed to go my way, things are meant to go the Lord's way. I have been a member since January 2, 2011! This without-a-doubt is the true Church of Jesus Christ.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I love the people in the Church, every Sunday I love seeing everyone's faces. Most of all I am a Mormon because the Spirit testified the truth of the Lord's existence. What I am going to write is a poem of my very first Testimony that I wrote( when I was 15).Here it is: With a heart full of love I get on my knees, fold my arms, bow my head, and pray. I pray for the people I know and will know, I pray for the sights I have seen and will see. I pray for myself to not get lost for I know the Lord will be by my side forever if I put forth the effort. With love and passion I have taken the Lord in my heart, in my soul, and most important into my life forever. People say life was given to us and with out a meaning. I believe that life is a privilege for some are not as fortunate to recieve the great gift of life. I pray that in time when my children grow that they too will recieve the great expirences and gifts of: Thy Father, Thy Son, and Thy Holy Ghost. Those three are the best gifts that any human would be lucky to recieve. I pray for those who do not know those three precious gifts that I want to endure so bad. I am grateful that te Lord has given me the best teachers that anyone could recieve. I know that the Lord, and Jesuse Christ have my back as I continue my journey to the Celestial Kingdom. It will be a hard journey with many trials ahead, but with the help of my family and friends aaround me I know that I can do it. I close my testimony of the living Christ with a saying that I hold dear to my heart. If in life you feel alone, turn to Jesus and together you will make it through. Written 26 December 2010. God Bless

How I live my faith

Since I am only a youth myself I have not had many chances to lead or help set-up anything yet. I have conducted in a class on Sunday called Young Women

Are Mormons Christians?

Elizabeth
Yes, we are Christians but we are different in some ways. We believe in the after life of Christ whereas most Christian faiths don't. Being Christain is believing in Christ hiimself. Show more Show less

What is the Law of Chastity?

Elizabeth
The Law of Chasity to me is a very sacred law. Being Chaste means not participating in any sexual manners, not inflicting sexual emotions in yourself or another person. The ability of being able to make children is sacred. Children and sexual interaction should only happen in marrige. Waiting until you are married to give yourself away is the best thing to do. When people think of sex they should think of love, and when they think of love they should think of marrige, and when they think of marrige they should think of children. It is a very repetitive circle. Show more Show less
