Hi I'm Carina

I am a mother, a daughter, a wife, a sister, a friend. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up loving any opportunity to participate in athletics. Later I learned I also had a great desire for education and learning. I had the opportunity to play collegically but I felt it more important to focus my efforts in life on studies and other educational pursuits. I learned and grew a great deal. I also found and fell in love with my dear sweet husband. We have been blessed with 3 children whom I love being at home with. I love to teach them, dance with them, be with them. I enjoy singing and playing the piano. I love to read and am finding enlightenment in many different novels and subjects. I enjoy exercising and being active. I still participate in athletics when I can, and have been able to be on a several different leagues. Over all though, my greatest joy in life is my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up as being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day-Saints and was taught by wonderful parents who lived and loved the gospel. I saw it's goodness, I have had expereinces in my life that have anchored my testimony that God lives. Through living the gospel I have come to know for myself that the Church of Jesus-Christ of Latter Day Saints is true. I have had questions and many sleepless nights pondering upon it's teachings. Through countelss prayers, searching through the scriptures, endless pondering, sweet and sacred personal experiences, I know the gospel of Jesus Christ is true. The fruit of the gospel is so GOOD! I have so much more learning to do, more testimony to grow, more weakness to overcome. But I strive to be more like Christ. I know who I am, a Child of God. I know why I'm here. And I hope to live life in goodness for me, for others, and for Him. I am who I am because I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith by serving others, and being honest and true to myself and those around me. I have been able to serve many women by going into their homes and visiting with them to see to their needs and share alittle kindness. I have been given opportunity to serve the youth of our church on many occassions. I have helped plan activites for the youth and children, even their whole families at times, that would help uplift and bring enjoyment and learning into their lives. I have found so much joy in serving them. I continue to study the scriptures and gospel to better myself and teach my children. I have so much more to learn or so much more to do! Living the gospel has opened my eyes and has brought so much peace and direction in my life.
