Hi I'm Jon

I grew up in Utah. I now live in Washington. I am a 31 year old Law Student. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I currently work 2 jobs while going to school full time. I have two beautiful little children: a 3 year-old daughter - who's smile means the world to me; and a 5 month-old son who's giggle brightens my day. I also have a supportive wife who gracefully helps me get to school and work each day. I am so busy that I hardly have time for them. Between classes, work and other responsibilities I am gone about 14 hours a day. When I have some down time, all I do is play with my family.

Why I am a Mormon

The knowledge and peace that comes from the teachings of the Church help lift me each day. I try to spend a few minutes each day reading the scriptures and other guidance given to us from the Church leaders. This has helped me to manage my time, energy and happiness. Without this Church, I would be a grumpy, stressed-out student. One of the greatest teachings of the Church is that families can be together forever; that our selves, and our relationships continue on after this life. This knowledge has helped me during difficult times and I hope that it will continue to carry me onward during the difficult times to come.

How I live my faith

Whenever I am afforded spare time, I enjoy getting to know my neighbors in the community. One special way I can do this is through serving them. My wife loves to cook amazing foods and we like to take it around the neighborhood getting to know those around us. We also try to help others by providing yard maintenance or other help when they are unable to. These actions continue to give me energy to maintain each difficult and long day that I have.
