Hi I'm Dorothy

I have a husband and two children. I love to be a mother. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have been married for 61 years. I have one son, one daughter, one daughter-in-law, a son-in-law, ten grandchildren, and 28 great grandchildren. We have lived in Arizona all of our lives except five years that I lived in New Mexico. We like to travel and my husband enjoys hunting and the outdoors.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I was born into the Church but I have stayed in it because I believe it is the true Church. I love to serve in my ward and I enjoy the members we work with and all of the families - especially all of the youth. Knowing that we can live together forever as a family means the world to me. I love the way the Gospel teaches us to try to be Christlike. Our youth are taught to keep their bodies strong and clean and to be honest in all that they do. This is important to me and has been a blessing for us and our family to have children that are wholesome and clean and who cherish being together with us and each other.

How I live my faith

Our Church teaches us to love our neighbors and do for them all that we are able to do, regardless of their faith or beliefs. I love serving my neighbors and friends. I am proud to tell people about our church and encourage them to learn more about it. Our Church is a real highlight in my life. It is something that I look forward to attending and serving.
