Hi I'm Holli

I am a stay at home mom/ hair stylist and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Mesa Arizona, I have always been a member of the church, but it wasn't until I served a mission that I gained a strong and solid testimony, I served my mission in the Vina del Mar Chile Mission and I LOVED it!!!! I got married in Nov of 2006, and now we have 2 beautiful and hilarious, full of energy little boys. I love being a mom, it has been the best thing in life!! I also am a hairstylist, so I just work twice a week and I love doing hair!! I have been on a weighloss journey and so I enjoy working out, I do a TEAM weighloss class and yoga twice a week and for the first time in my life I enjoy working out, I have met some wonderful people!! I also enjoy crafty stuff, even though I have 2 little boys I love making hair accessories and stuff like that.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church, but I am mormon because A. It's awesome and B. I feel its very important for children to have a relationship with God and to have religion in their life, I can only do so much in the short time I have until they can make their own decisions, I want our home to be a safe haven and to find comfort and peace and I want each of my children to know who they are and where they came from. I really gained my testimony while serving a mission, and from then on I have a strong love for my Savior Jesus Christ and the scriptures, I find peace when I read the Bible and the Book of Mormon, I know that because of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints that I am the person I am today, the values and beliefs make me a stronger person, I know that I am a daughter of God and that He hears every prayer, I kow that Heavenly Father is aware of me and has a hand in my daily life, He has not only held my hand through trials but carried me through them and made me a stronger person. I love my Savior and Heavenly Father so much and I am so thankful for the gospel in my life!

How I live my faith

Being a mormon isn't only a religion its a lifestyle, a lifestyle that I love and wouldn't change it for the world. I attend church every Sunday, some days are really hard, my kids are 3 and 22 months, they can be a challenge but I know how important it is that my husband and I set a good example for them. One of the best things about the church is the love and support, once a month there is always someone calling to see how I am doing, I truely have "church family" I know that if I ever need anything, there is always someone I can call.
