Hi I'm Ricky

I am a nurse trying to go to school to be a CRNA. I am a husband. I am a father. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a husband and father of two beautiful daughters. I am a nurse trying to go to school to be a CRNA. I enjoy playing video games and guitar.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and have always had a belief in the church's teachings. I was not completely active growing up for some of my teenage years, but came back. I served a mission in California and was able to see the positive effects that the gospel had on my life and on the life of others. I have always had a testimony that I am a Son of God and that we are all His children. The church has helped me to draw closer to my Father in Heaven and to my Savior. I know that Jesus Christ loves me and that he suffered for my sins and died for me. I know that he made that sacrifice on both a very personal and universal level. I know that when I pray Heavenly Father answers me. I have had prayers answered about my belief. I have had prayers answered about Joseph Smith and I know that he was a prophet of God. I know that Heavenly Father continues to call prophets today and that Thomas S. Monson is his prophet today. The Book of Mormon is another reason that I am a member of this church. I have read it and know that it is a gift from God. It blesses my life when I read it and I know that it brings me closer to my Father in Heaven.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by attending church whenever possible. I also live it by following the churches teachings and remembering that we are all children of God. This especially helps me working as a nurse, knowing that I can say silent prayers on my patients behalf and to help me through difficult times in my day and in my life.
