Hi I'm Kacie

I'm a wife, I'm a mother. I love to teach and to learn. I love being active and enjoying the sunshine. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am so blessed to be a mother of three children and that I am able to be a stay at home mother. I have been married to a great guy for seven years. Before having children I obtained my bachelors degree in human and family studies and worked as a preschool teacher. Those were great years and really prepared me for my role as mother to my children. I have set up a "preschool" room in my home and love to educate my children and watch them learn. I love to study and learn myself. I find myself watching the History Channel during my downtimes. I am very social and enjoy spending time with friends and starting community playgroups.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a convert to the church. When I was 19 years old, my brother, who was 16 years old, passed away in a car accident. I went from a 19 year old girl who didn't really care what was going on around me, or care about the major questions in life, to one who desperately wanted to know the meaning of this life and what happened after this life was over. I began to search religions and different life philosophies that could help me better understand what happened to my brother and why. In talking to Mormon friends I learned about the Plan of Salvation Heavenly Father has given us. I learned that I will see my brother agian someday and we can be a family forever. Knowing more about my Father in Heaven and his Plan has given me peace and comfort. With this knowledge, I have been able to face life with a postive outlook and it has helped me in the everyday trials that motherhood brings with it. I am so happy to have the Gospel of Jesus Christ to help me raise my sweet children. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints has truly been a blessing and a source of comfort in my life.

How I live my faith

Being one of the only members of the church in my family, I try to live my faith and be an example. Serving in the church has blessed my life so much. I currently work with the youth. I am a leader for the 12-14 year old girls. I plan lessons on Sundays and fun activities for the youth every Wednesday. These girls have truly become some of my best friends and I love working with them and watching their testimonies of our Savior grow through service, prayer, and learing the scriptures.
